ETIKA BISNIS DAN PENDIDIKAN
Dalam sistem perekonomian pasar bebas, perusahaan diarahkan untuk mencapai tujuan mendapatkan keuntungan  semaksimal mungkin, sejalan dengan prinsip efisiensi. Namun, dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut pelaku bisnis kerap  menghalalkan berbagai cara tanpa peduli apakah tindakannya melanggar etika dalam berbisnis atau tidak.

Hal ini terjadi akibat manajemen dan karyawan yang cenderung mencari keuntungan semata sehingga terjadi  penyimpangan norma-norma etis, meski perusahaan perusahaan tersebut memiliki code of conduct dalam berbisnis  yang harus dipatuhi seluruh organ di dalam organisasi. Penerapan kaidah good corporate governace di perusahaan swasta, BUMN, dan instansi pemerintah juga masih lemah. Banyak perusahaan melakukan pelanggaran, terutama dalam  pelaporan kinerja keuangan perusahaan.

Prinsip keterbukaan informasi tentang kinerja keuangan bagi perusahaan terdaftar BEJ misalnya seringkali dilanggar dan jelas merugikan para pemangku (stakeholders), terutama pemegang saham dan masyarakat luas  lainnya. Berbagai kasus insider trading dan banyaknya perusahaan publik yang disuspend perdagangan sahamnya oleh otoritas bursa menunjukkan contoh praktik buruk dalam berbisnis. Belum lagi masalah kerusakan lingkungan yang terjadi akibat eksploitasi sumber daya alam dengan alasan mengejar keuntungan setinggi-tingginya tanpa memperhitungkan daya dukung ekosistem lingkungan.

Bisa dibayangkan, dampak nyata akibat ketidak pedulian pelaku bisnis terhadap etika berbisnis adalah budaya korupsi  yang semakin serius dan merusak tatanan sosial budaya masyarakat. Jika ini berlanjut, bagaimana mungkin investor  asing tertarik menanamkan modalnya di negeri kita? Situasi ini menimbulkan pertanyaan tentang mengapa kesemua ini terjadi? Apakah para pengusaha tersebut tidak mendapatkan pembelajaran etika bisnis di bangku kuliah? Apa yang salah  dengan pendidikan kita, karena seharusnya lembaga pendidikan berfungsi sebagai morale force dalam menegakkan nilai-nilai kebenaran dalam berbisnis?

Bagaimana sebenarnya etika bisnis diajarkan di sekolah kalaupun ada dan di perguruan tinggi? Etika bisnis merupakan mata kuliah yang diajarkan di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi yang menawarkan program pendidikan bisnis dan  manajemen. Beberapa kendala sering dihadapi dalam menumbuh kembangkan etika bisnis di dunia pendidikan.

Pertama, kekeliruan persepsi masyarakat bahwa etika bisnis hanya perlu diajarkan kepada mahasiswa program  manajemen dan bisnis karena pendidikan model ini mencetak lulusan sebagai mencetak pengusaha. Persepsi demikian  tentu tidak tepat. Lulusan dari jurusan / program studi nonbisnis yang mungkin diarahkan untuk menjadi pegawai tentu harus memahami etika bisnis. Etika bisnis adalah acuan bagi perusahaan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan usaha, termasuk dalam berinteraksi dengan stakeholders, termasuk tentunya karyawan.

Etika bisnis sebaik apa pun yang dicanangkan perusahaan dan dituangkan dalam pedoman perilaku, tidak akan berjalan tanpa kepatuhan karyawan dalam menaati norma-norma kepatutan dalam menjalankan aktivitas perusahaan. Kedua, pada program pendidikan manajemen dan bisnis, etika bisnis diajarkan sebagai mata kuliah tersendiri dan tidak terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran pada mata kuliah lain. Perlu diingat bahwa mahasiswa sebagai subjek didik harus mendapatkan pembelajaran secara komprehensif. Integrasi antara aspek kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif dalam proses  pembelajaran harus diutamakan. Sehingga masuk akal apabila etika bisnis aspek afektif sikap dalam hal ini disisipkan di berbagai mata kuliah yang ditawarkan. Ketiga, metode pengajaran dan pembelajaran pada mata kuliah ini cenderung monoton. Pengajaran lebih banyak menggunakan metode ceramah langsung.

Kalaupun disertai penggunaan studi kasus, sayangnya tanpa disertai kejelasan pemecahan masalah dari kasus-kasus yang dibahas. Hal ini disebabkan substansi materi etika bisnis lebih sering menyangkut kaidah dan norma yang cenderung abstrak dengan standar acuan tergantung persepsi individu dan institusi dalam menilai etis atau tidaknya  suatu tindakan bisnis. Misalnya, etiskah mengiklankan sesuatu obat dengan menyembunyikan informasi tentang indikasi pemakaian? Atau membahas moral hazard pada kasus kebangkrutan perusahaan sekelas Enron di Amerika Serikat. Keempat, etika bisnis tidak terdapat dalam kurikulum pendidikan dasar dan menengah.

Nilai-nilai moral dan etika dalam berperilaku bisnis akan lebih efektif diajarkan pada saat usia emas (golden age) anak, yaitu usia 4–6 tahun. Karena itu, pengajarannya harus bersifat tematik. Pada mata pelajaran agama, misalnya, guru bisa mengajarkan etika bisnis dengan memberi contoh bagaimana Nabi Muhammad SAW berdagang dengan tidak mengambil keuntungan setinggi langit. Kelima, orangtua beranggapan bahwa sesuatu yang tidak mungkin mengajarkan anak di rumah tentang etika bisnis karena mereka bukan pengusaha. Pandangan sempit ini dilandasi pemahaman bahwa etika bisnis adalah urusan pengusaha.

Padahal, sebenarnya penegakan etika bisnis juga menjadi tanggung jawab kita sebagai konsumen. Orangtua dapat mengajarkan etika bisnis di lingkungan keluarga dengan jalan memberi keteladanan pada anak dalam menghargai hak atas kekayaan intelektual (HaKI), misalnya dengan tidak membelikan mereka VCD, game software, dan produk bajakan lain dengan alasan yang penting murah. Keenam, pendidik belum berperan sebagai model panutan dalam pengajaran  etika bisnis. Misalnya masih sering kita mendapati fenomena orangtua siswa memberi hadiah kepada gurunya pada saat kenaikan kelas dengan alasan sebagai rasa terima kasih dan ikhlas.

Pendidik menerima hadiah tersebut dengan senang hati dan dengan sengaja menunjukkan hadiah pemberian orangtua siswa tersebut kepada teman sejawatnya dengan memuji-muji nilai atau besaran hadiah tersebut. Tidakkah kita sadari, kondisi seperti ini akan memberikan kesan mendalam pada anak kita? Mengurangi praktik pelanggaran etika dalam  berbisnis merupakan tanggung jawab kita semua. Sebagai pengusaha, tujuan memaksimalkan profit harus diimbangi peningkatan peran dan tanggung jawab terhadap masyarakat. Perusahaan turut melakukan pemberdayaan kualitas hidup masyarakat melalui program corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Pada saat kita berperan sebagai konsumen, seyogianya memahami betul hak dan kewajiban dalam menghargai karya orang lain. Orangtua harus menjadi model panutan engan memberikan contoh baik tentang perilaku berbisnis kepada  anak sehingga kelak mereka akan menjadi pekerja atau pengusaha yang mengerti betul arti penting etika bisnis. Pemerintah sebagai regulator pasar turut berperan mengawasi praktik negatif para pelaku ekonomi. Sudah saatnya pemerintah mempertimbangkan etika bisnis termuat dalam kurikulum pendidikan dasar dan menengah. Peran aktif para  pelaku ekonomi ini pada akhirnya akan menjadikan dunia bisnis di Tanah Air surga bagi investor asing.
Kesimpulan komentar :
            Dalam dua hal tersebut memang sangat saling terkait, karena dunia bisnis harus diawali dari dunia pendidikan (formal atau non formal), materi yang tawarkan atau diberikan oleh bangku pendidikan memang sangat variatif dalam hal penyampaiannya ada yang monoton dan ada yang mengeksplor materi tersebut. Tetapi yang jadi pembahasan kita adalah efek apa yang ditimbulkan oleh pendidikan etika bisnis dan pendidikan dibangku pendidikan formal maupun non formal.
            Pada pembahasan paragraf terakhir artikel tersebut dijelaskan bahwa pendidikan etika bisnis haruslah perlu dipikirkan oleh  pemerintah dari proses sampai dengan hasil yang diperoleh, dengan sistem tersebut etika bisnis sudah tentu dikenal oleh anak cucu bangsa sejak dini ( dari bangku Sekolah Dasar sampai dengan Perkuliahan) karena penanaman moral pada anak didik haruslah dari usia dini.

VOLCANIC ERUPTION

Volcano or volcanoes in general is a term that can be defined as a system of hot fluid channel ( in the form of molten rock or lava ) that extends from a depth of about 10 km below the earth's surface to the earth's surface , including the results of accumulated sediment material issued on when erupted .
When a volcano erupts , magma contained in magma room beneath the volcano erupted out as lava or lava . Other than lava flows , the destruction caused by the volcano through a variety of ways such as the following :

  * The flow of lava .
  * The eruption of the volcano .
  * The flow of mud .
  * Abu .
  * Wildfires .
  * Gas poisonous .
  * Tsunami waves .
  * Earthquakes .

The Causes Volcano

Almost all volcanic activity related to the active seismic zone because it related to plate boundaries . At this plate boundary change in pressure and temperature are very high so as to melt the surrounding material that is the incandescent liquid ( magma ) .

Magma will mengintrusi surrounding rock or soil through cracks close to the surface of the earth .

Formed from volcanic magma , the molten rock deep within the earth . Magma is formed due to the heat in the Earth's interior temperature . At a certain depth , the temperature is very high heat so as to melt the rocks in the earth . When the molten rock , gas then mixed with magma . Most of the magma formed at depths of 60 to 160 km below the earth's surface . Others are formed at depths of 24 to 48 km .
Magma containing gas , gradually rising to the surface because of its mass is lighter than solid rocks around him . When magma rises , the magma melts the rocks nearby , forming a large cabin at a depth of about 3 km from the surface . Cabin magma ( magma chamber) which are part of the warehouse ( reservoir ) where volcanic eruptions originating materials .
Magma containing gas in magma cabin is in a condition under heavy pressure rocks that surround it . This pressure causes the magma erupts or melt conduit ( channel ) on the rocks brittle or cracked . Magma moves out through the channel leading to the surface . When magma close to the surface , the gas content in it regardless . Gas and magma burst together and form a hole called the main hole (central vent ) . Most of the magma and other volcanic material then gush out through this hole . After bursts of stops , crater ( crater ) that resemble bowls typically form on the top of the volcano . While there are major holes in the bottom of the crater .
Formed after the volcano , magma is not all that appears on the next eruption rose up to the surface through the main hole . When magma rises , most likely broken through the wall cracks or branched through smaller channels . Magma through this channel may be out through another hole formed on the side of a mountain , or may remain below the surface .

Impact of Volcanic Eruption
The impact of volcanic eruptions on the environment can be a negative impact and positive . The negative impact of a volcanic eruption can be a danger that can be felt by humans such as hot clouds , pyroclastic fallout , toxic gas that comes out of volcanoes and so forth , while the danger is not immediate after the eruption ended , such as lava rain , destruction of agricultural land , and various diseases caused by pollution . The positive impact of the activity on the environment is a volcanic mineral extractive industry , geothermal energy , arable land resources , nature areas , and as a water resource .

1 . Negative impact :

    Immediate danger , occurs at the time of eruption ( lava , heat clouds , pyroclastic fallout / bomb , lava eruptions and
    poisonous gas ) .
    Indirect hazard , occurs after the eruption ( lava rain , famine due to damage to land
    agricultural / plantation / fisheries ) , panic , air pollution / water by toxic gas : yellow teeth / loss ,
    endemic goiter , etc.

2 . Positive Impact :

    Minerals : such as stone and sand building materials , housewares , sculptures , and others .
    Minerals : sulfur , gypsum , zeolite and also mas ( epithermal gold ) .
    Geothermal energy : electricity , heating , agribusiness
    Hot springs : treatment / health therapy .
    Tourist areas : natural beauty
    Arable land : agriculture and plantations
    Water resources : water , agriculture / animal husbandry , etc.

The paper, 'Ecosystem-based fisheries management requires a change to the selective fishing philosophy', was written by a team of authors led by Shijie Zhou of the CSIRO Wealth from Oceans Flagship.
Dr Zhou says ecosystem-based fisheries management (EBFM) is broadly practiced as a means of reducing the impact of fishing on marine ecosystems while ensuring sustainable fisheries.
He says fishing methods under EBFM vary greatly in how selectively they catch fish. The common view is that highly selective methods that catch only one or a few species above a certain size limit are more environmentally responsible.
But recent advances in fishery science and ecology suggest a selective approach may exacerbate rather than reduce the impact of fishing on both fisheries and marine ecosystems.
"Selective fishing alters biodiversity, which in turn changes ecosystem functioning and may affect fisheries production, hindering rather than helping to achieve the goals of EBFM," Dr Zhou says. "These effects have been overshadowed to some extent by a focus on overharvesting."
"We believe it is time to critically rethink traditional selective fishing approaches that might not protect ecosystems and fisheries as intended, but may in fact make them more vulnerable to large changes in structure and function."
Dr Zhou and his co-authors propose a "balanced exploitation" approach combining reduced fishing effort, less selective fishing strategies, and better use of the catch to help achieve sustainable overall yields while maintaining healthy ecosystems.
"The trade-off is lower exploitation levels on currently highly targeted species against better use of more parts of the ecosystem," Dr Zhou says.
"Fisheries production could actually increase through better use of non-target species, while reducing unsustainably high catches of target species, thereby helping to meet the challenge of increasing global food demand."
Dr Zhou says the implications of such a change in approach would need to be considered by a wide range of stakeholders including fishermen, fishery managers and conservation agencies.

In my previous article, I said that there are several things to help your finance every month :
1. Plan your income and expense every month
2. Do the plan strictly
3. Have reserves fund
4. Take some insurances
This article will discuss point 1 and 2.
1. Plan your income and expense every month
Starting right now, plan when you will get your salary, how much its amount, and when you will spend your money, what the posts and how much the amount of expenses. The plan called Budget.
In example, you will receive this much on your salary on 27th, then from that amount you will use this much for this expense, that amount for that expense, and so on. So, if you make a budget first, you will detect on the first place whether there will be deficit or not in the middle of the month. If yes, you can revise the budget to avoid deficit.
Composing budget is very easy. If you have already known the amount of average income and expense every month, you could also predict how much income and expense for the next coming months.


Budget function
Many people feels uncomfortable to draw up and have budget. They think budget is the same with restrain their shopping desire.
NO. The function of a budget is to inform if your expense surpass your income or not. If yes, you ocan revise the budget so deficit can be avoided.
But, if you do not have budget, you will be difficult to know if your family expense has surpassed the income. So, if there is deficit at the end of the month, you just realize it at that time, after all has happened.



IMPORTANT
Include saving in your budget. Usually people save their money later, after their money was spent. So, sometimes they cannot save their money because all of their money was spent for shopping.
Thereby, it would be better if saving is not included later but earlier. Therefore, when you draw up a budget, insert saving as one of the posts that you must do earlier, at least after you repay your loan.

2. Do the plan strictly.
A plan is useless if it is not done. In here, plan of income and expense as much as Rp250,000, if you strictly obey and want to do according the budget, at the end of the month the discrepancy between income and expense of your family will be certainly figured out, namely Rp250,000.
Thereby, it would be easier to make another plan froward, because you have already known that every end of the month you surely have discrepancy of Rp250,000, which can be used for another purpose.
However, sometimes people, although have already made up a simple budget, is still unable to meet their budget. If he, i.e. allocated Rp500,000 per month for shopping, the figure could expand to Rp750,000.
This can be prevented with a harder system, namely 'envelope system'. If you have already drawn up a budget, you should allocate the amount right away according to each post. Each post is represented by one envelope. If the money in the envelope is empty, you don't have to try opening the other envelopes, because you have already known that budget for the related post has touched its limit. Envelope system is a little complicated, but perhaps it is the sacrifice that you should doso that you will not experience deficit. The most important, your expense now is more controllable.

Functionalist theories tend to study grammar as a dynamic phenomenon, as the structure is always in the process of change as they are employed by their speakers. This view led to the study of linguistic typology is important, because it can be shown that the process of grammaticalization tend to follow the path that is partly dependent on typology. In the philosophy of language these views are often associated with Wittgenstein's later works and with ordinary language philosophers such as GE Moore, Paul Grice, John Searle and JL Austin.
