to Fulfill Duties english lessons of SMK N 4 Kendal.

INTRODUCTION

A. The Background of The The Assembly of Personal Computers
Computers are tools used to process data in accordance with procedures that have been
formulated. The word computer was originally used to describe people whose jobs do arithmetic calculations, with or without the tools, but the meaning of the word is then transferred to the machine
itself. Origins, processing information
almost exclusively related to
arithmetical problems, but modern
computers are used for many tasks unrelated to mathematics.
In the sense that there are tools
such as slide rules, mechanical calculators types ranging from abacus
and so on, until
all contemporary electronic
computers. The term better suited for a broad sense as "computer" is "that process information" or "information-processing
system." Over the years there have
been several different meanings in the word "computer", and a few different words is now called called a
computer.

1.
Prepare the motherboard and place it in a safe place
2.
Install the processor
in place (the socket) noticed a sign on the processor must be placed according to the markings on the connector (no reverse)

Install the RAM memory in place
properly, note Memory usually notched corner
should be put in place carefully

Insert the motherboard into cashing
(in the computer), hooks plastic hooks used

Connect the cable from the power supply to
the power slot available on your hard disk, floppy drive and
CD ROM drive

Connect the ribbon cable (data cable) on the holder the hard disk,
floppy drive and
CD ROM drive

Connect the cable from the floppy drive into
the slot for a floppy drive, as well as connect the cable from the hard disk to the IDE slot number 1, and
the cable from the CD ROM to the IDE slot number 2
10. Install the VGA card in the slot, if you
have a card of
this type of ISA, you have to put the cards
on the ISA bus

11. Install the add-on VGA card expansion card
12. Connect the cables connecting
the "reset" to see "Reset" key on the motherboard
13. Attach the data cable from
the monitor to the card slot contained in VGA
connectors have 3 rows noticed legs
neatly arranged, with trapezoidal shaped connector
14. Plug the keyboard into
the keyboard slot located on the motherboard
15. Last pair cables
(power) from the
monitor to the power slot located on the back
of the power supply already

A. Conclusion
In the installation of all the components of the PC must be thorough and correct, if there
is an error or a PC component teropasang not then it can affect the
computer program or
even a computer can not be turned on / use.

B. Suggestion
In the installation, must be thorough, correct and to check first before the installation process (before the computer starts up).
At the time of installation should read the guide book and
accompanied by a person who has had or could install and assemble
a PC (for beginners).
